2020 State HIT Connect

There are so many questions when starting your MES Modular procurement. What modules are out there? What should my timeline look like? When do I procure an IV&V vendor? Do I need a PMO or SI vendor? This session will discuss ideas on how to jumpstart your MES procurement so you can move forward as efficiently as possible with the modular replacement of your MMIS. We will share procurement scenario examples of how you might want to approach your replacement projects, as well as lessons learned and experiences from several states so that you can hear what has worked well, and what hasn't. We’ll also share our experience incorporating Outcomes-Based Certification and Organizational Change Management into MMIS replacement strategies.
