With the much-anticipated policy updates surrounding interoperability, TEFCA and information blocking states are embarking on a steep learning curve as it relates to the rules, standards, associated demonstration projects that will inform their strategic planning efforts in the coming years. Effective stakeholder engagement, coordination will prove critical in creating a shared vision of HIT needs in the state and will help guide State government when making decisions on policy and investments in Health IT over the next few years.

A successful roadmap will need to address infrastructure needs as well as governance, legislative/policy needs, and sustainability as well as to explore the role of public-private partnerships in meeting these goals.

Join this session of states, interoperability demonstration project leaders and federal policymakers to inform your state interoperability, HIT plan planning efforts inc coming years!
